Marginalia: 9.11.09

I can't let you kill that zombie, Dave. CVG:  LucasArts is formally hopping back on the videogame bandwagon.  They just announced Lucidity, a 2D side-scrolling puzzler where the player controls not the character but the environment.  I’ll take it.

Destructoid: Further Sony vs. Nigeria news: the “offensive” line has now been changed to “You can’t believe everything you read on the internet.  That’s how World War I got started.”  I can guess you can use that because no one who fought in WWI is alive to get upset?

Joystiq: They put Kurt Cobain in Guitar Hero 5 and now people all mad.

Gamasutra: A nice piece on what makes a good AI partner.

1UP: Valve flew in prominent L4D2 boycotters to try the new Definitely Not an Expansion Pack title.  Big surprise: they came away impressed, if not completely converted.
